After a journey of learning and increasing improvement in 2009, started in 2010 Canaima socialization project that explores the universal use of technology. To date, innovations incorporated into Canaima GNU / Linux tend to correct minor functional details, to protect the system against security breaches and to adopt new applications. Version 2.0.1, 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 reflect this behavior.
With the release of the release candidate Canaima GNU / Linux 2.1, capitalized start a new technological style, subject to community practices and schemes of social production.
